sunday was the one year anniversary of the tohoku earthquake. there were events in nagoya and gifu to commemorate the tragedy as well as to protest of the use of nuclear power.

the scene in gifu made me feel very much at home. local artists, drip coffee, bossanova music, friendly people and bubbles.
